① When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can choose 1 effect; ● You can destroy Spell/Traps on the field, up to the number of other face-up “HERO” monsters you control. ● Add 1 “HERO” monster from your Deck to your hand.

Card Rulings¶

• When you activate this effect, you must declare which effect you are using.

• You can’t choose the destroy effect if you control no other HERO monsters.

If you choose the destroy effect:

• You can choose to destroy 0 cards when resolving this effect (yes this is weird).

• Starlight Road can’t be chained.

• Stardust Dragon’s effect can’t be chained.

Card Text¶

① When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can select and activate 1 of these effects: Ⓐ Destroy Spell or Trap Cards on the field up to the number of “Elemental Hero”, “Destiny Hero” and “Evil Hero” monsters you control (not counting this card). Ⓑ Select and add 1 “Elemental Hero”, “Destiny Hero” or “Evil Hero” from your Deck to your hand.

Card Rulings¶

• The ① optional “When… you can…” Trigger Effect (both Ⓐ and Ⓑ) can miss the timing.

  • This effect (both Ⓐ and Ⓑ) CAN be activated during the Damage Step.

  • When this effect triggers, you declare which (if either) effect you are activating.

• The Ⓐ effect does NOT target Spell / Trap Cards on the field. “Starlight Road” cannot be chained.

  • This effect CANNOT be activated if Stratos is the only “HERO” monster you control.

  • Your other face-up “Elemental / Destiny / Evil Hero” monsters are counted when this effect resolves.

  • This effect does not count “Hero Kid” towards your face up HERO monsters.

• The Ⓑ effect CANNOT be activated while “Thunder King Rai-Oh” is face-up on the field.

  • This effect cannot add “Hero Kid”.
