① If this card is sent to the GY: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent. ② If this card is sent to the GY by the effect of a “Blaze Accelerator” card: You can send 2 “Volcanic Scattershot” from your hand and/or Deck to the GY; destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

Card Rulings¶

• If this card is sent from your hand to the GY by “Blaze Accelerator”’s effect, its effect to inflict 500 damage doesn’t activate (Yes, this is really weird).

Card Text¶

① When this card is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. ② If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the effect of a “Blaze Accelerator” card, you can send 2 “Volcanic Scattershots” from your hand / Deck to the Graveyard to destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

Card Rulings¶

• The ① mandatory Trigger Effect activates & resolves in the Graveyard.

  • If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the effect of a “Blaze Accelerator” card, its effect to inflict 500 damage to your opponent does not activate. This UDE ruling applies in Edison Format [REF].

  • The effect “inflict 500 damage to your opponent” of other “Volcanic Scattershot” cards sent to the Graveyard as a cost to activate the effect of this card will activate. Their effects will go on a new Chain after the resolution of “Blaze Accelerator” or “Tri-Blaze Accelerator.”

• The ② optional Trigger Effect activates & resolves in the Graveyard.

  • Sending 2 other copies of “Volcanic Scattershot” to the Graveyard is a cost.

  • You can send 1 Scattershot from your hand and 1 from your Deck, or both from your Deck.

  • This effect cannot be activated while “Macro Cosmos” is active.
