① Neither player can Special Summon monsters, except LIGHT monsters.

Card Rulings

  • Non-LIGHT Monsters can’t be Special Summoned face-down.

  • “Reasoning” can be activated while a Barrier Statue is face-up. If “Reasoning” would Special Summon a non-LIGHT monster, it is sent to the Graveyard and the effect of “Reasoning” ends.

  • “Future Fusion” CAN’T be activated UNLESS a LIGHT Fusion Monster is revealed.

  • The “Shallow Grave” CAN’T be activated unless BOTH PLAYERS have 1(+) LIGHT monster in their GY.

  • “Magical Hats” CAN’T be activated while a Barrier Statue is in play.
