• Fusion Substitute cards (like King of the Swamp) can’t be used in this card’s Fusion Summon.

• Elemental Hero Prisma (that has gained the name of one of this card’s Fusion Material) can be used in this card’s Fusion Summon.

• This card can be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by Summoner of Illusions.

• This effect must be chained directly to the card or effect that is targeting “Arcana Knight Joker”.

• Discarding a card is a cost. This effect can be activated while Macro Cosmos is active.

• You can activate this effect during the Damage Step.

• This effect can’t negate the effects of “Call of the Haunted” that destroys “Arcana Knight Joker” when it is destroyed.

Card Text¶

Ⓒ A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. ① Once per turn, if this face-up card on the field is targeted by a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster’s effect, you can negate that effect by discarding the same kind of card (Spell, Trap, or Monster Card).

• The Ⓒ Condition cannot be negated.

  • Fusion Substitute cards (like “King of the Swamp”) cannot be used in this card’s Fusion Summon.

  • “Elemental Hero Prisma” (that has gained the name of one of this card’s Fusion Material) can be used in this card’s Fusion Summon.
