① When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tribute Summoning a “Lightsworn” monster: You can send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the GY, then target up to 2 cards your opponent controls; destroy those targets.

Card Rulings¶

• If you choose to activate this effect, you must target at least 1 card on the field.

• Sending cards is a cost, not an effect. If this card’s summon is successful, you’ll send cards and declare targets. Afterwards, “Pulling the Rug” may be chained.

Card Text¶

① When you Tribute Summon this card by Tributing a “Lightsworn” monster, you can send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to destroy up to 2 cards your opponent controls.

Card Rulings¶

• The ① optional Trigger Effect only activates if the Tribute Material is a “Lightsworn” monster.

  • This effect activates even if the Tributed “Lightsworn” monster was face-down.

• Sending the top 4 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard is a cost.

  • This effect cannot be activated while “Macro Cosmos”, etc. is active.

• This effect targets. You must choose 1 or 2 of your opponent’s cards to destroy.

  • If only 1 card is targeted, your opponent CANNOT chain “Starlight Road” in response.

  • If 2 cards are targeted, your opponent CAN chain “Starlight Road” in response.
