① When Normal Summoned: Target 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon in your GY; equip it to this card. ② Gains ATK equal to that equipped monster’s original ATK. ③ If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy that equipped monster instead. ④ If this card destroys an opponent’s monster by battle: Your opponent takes 300 damage.

• This effect does not specify “and sends it to the GY”. It triggers at the end of the Damage Step, even if destroyed after Damage Calculation (either by battle or by effect), as long as it destroyed a monster by battle.
